The digital edition of COAST brings the full photographic and written journey of the book into a downloadable format, preserving the structure, pacing, and intent of the printed edition.
Inside, you’ll find the complete collection of images, accompanied by the personal stories behind each photograph, the conditions and settings used, and location references that trace the journey around Ireland’s coastline. This edition exists as a direct version of the physical book, the same narrative, the same sequencing, and the same attention to context, simply delivered digitally.
COAST was built around experience rather than individual images. The digital edition reflects that, allowing you to move through the book as it was designed, exploring the coast, location by location and image by image, understanding not just what was photographed, but why each moment mattered.
This edition is ideal if you want to engage with the project in full, revisit locations and stories, or support the book while keeping a permanent digital copy of the work.

COAST exists because of its Kickstarter campaign. The book was funded in under 24 hours, turning a long-held idea into a real, physical project. That early support removed the financial risk involved in printing at the quality the work deserved and made it possible to commit to the format, materials, and production values without compromise. Every pledge was a vote of confidence, allowing the book to move from planning into production and ensuring it could be made properly rather than rushed or scaled back. Without that campaign and the people who backed it, COAST simply would not exist in its final form.
